What is Casacocò?

Casacocò is set in a gorgeous park where the olive trees keep company with oak trees, bay trees, camellias and wisteria, amidst a lovely mix of scents: aromatic herbs, lilac trees, flowering clematis, and six hundred rose plants, which the owner personally selected and tends.

Casacocò is a delightful haven in Italy’s green Roman Tuscia region, just a few kilometers from Bracciano Lake and the thermal spas in Stigliano, and 50 KM from Rome.

How many people can sleep at Casacocò?

The two double rooms in the Country House – the Green Room and the Red Room – have private bathrooms. They are quiet, secluded, and have independent entrances: just perfect for getting a deep night’s sleep and then relaxing in the morning as you sample homemade sweets for breakfast under the arbour.

The park also has a bio-cottage called “Salacocò”, that is available for families or groups of friends. Salacocò, has two large bedrooms which sleep up to 6 people.

What’s there to do at Casacocò?

Casacocò is the perfect destination if you are looking for a quiet and relaxing holiday surrounded by nature, in a 3.5-hectare park (about 8.6 acres).

Guests at the Country House can unwind and relax in a natural setting, and go for a swim in the secluded, elegant, stone and mosaic-tiled pool whose design was inspired by ancient countryside fountains. 18 metres long and surrounded by olive trees, the swimming pool offers the perfect setting for summertime dips.

Guests can also do yoga, jog, swim, take walks and sip cocktails in the park, surrounded by nature’s colours.

Nearby Activities

The surrounding countryside is beautiful to explore: in just a few minutes you can reach the Manziana woods, the Canale Monterano Nature Reserve, and Bracciano Lake. The Stigliano thermal spas are just 6 km away, and the sea can be reached in twenty minutes.

We can arrange horseback riding excursions, woodland walks with nature guides, and excellent massages, if you wish. We can prepare lunches and dinners, by request only.

Rome is less than an hour away; trains depart to Rome’s San Pietro station every hour.

This is an Etruscan and Roman area, so there are plenty of archaeological sites to visit. Bomarzo is famous for its stone “monsters” and is a very fascinating and fun place to visit, especially for kids. And then there are hamlets like Sutri, Caprarola with its lovely Palazzo Farnese, and Viterbo, which is just 40 minutes away.

Locally sourced food is lovingly offered to our guests here at Casacocò, from homemade sweets, seasonal fruit, yogurt, coffee, tea, milk, jams, and fresh bread for breakfast, to lunches and dinners which showcase local products and homemade pasta.

By request only, we offer lunches and dinners with vegetarian and gluten-free options, or we can decide on a menu together.
